The blast devastated the primary school in the Kano state this morning Terrified schoolchildren desperately searched for safety amid the explosion According to witnesses, multiple people were killed by the eruption while numerous others have been injured. Schoolchildren in red and white uniforms were seen running for their lives after the devastating incident in the northern region of Nigeria. Bystanders shared horrifying videos of the aftermath of the blast, showing charred bodies littered across the blood-soaked street. The clips show chaotic scenes as parents desperately searched for their children amongst the crowds in front of the crumbling Christian school. The roof has collapsed due to the force of the explosion, with onlookers claiming kids had to crawl from underneath the rubble. Terrified youngsters were seen sobbing as they waded through the swarms of people and stepped over dead bodies. Men and women tightly clutched their kids, most of them covered in dust and debris, amid the panic. Sabon Gari Market President Nafi'u Nuhu Indabo confirmed the explosion to the BBC, saying it affected many people, including schoolchildren.
